About

My name is Jennifer Joy and the writer of Blessed Quietness.*

The aim of this blog is to encourage you as you walk with Christ. The posts are for the sole purpose of pointing you to Him and providing an avenue where you can focus on the Word. Life is not always easy and it helps to have others pray, remind us of Scripture, or quietly listen as we work through our struggles and eagerly embrace our joys.

May we grow in Christ together.  I invite you to join me as we focus on who He is and pursue a relationship with the God of the Universe. There is no greater joy than getting to know our Savior better and inviting others to come along on this journey.

Blessings,

Jennifer Joy

Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Adjust Your Speed. Once we realize who we are and what God is calling us to do, we are then required to adjust our speed.  Look at what the multitudes did upon hearing Peter speak: 1) they gave their lives to Christ…

Tired of the TO DO Lists?

The Great Grind: If you're anything like me, your life is filled to overflowing with the necessities and then some!  I'm sure you have a life filled with the daily grind of shopping, cooking, cleaning, working, going to the Doctor, going to the bank, running to the pharmacy, taking care of the sick pet, thinking of meals for the upcoming week, taking care of the children, and if you home school your children - lesson planning, grading, teaching, gathering material and then there's paying the bills, cutting coupons to save money, and oh yes, the beloved laundry!  And the defining moment when you realize you do not have any clean underwear for the next morning...ugh.
